How Michigan can win
After breaking down lots of tape over the previous few weeks, Michigan quarterback Chad Henne said he thinks the Wolverines can take advantage of Florida’s young defense. He’s right. Even though the defense had one of its best games in the victory over FSU, it came against an offense that had been sporadic all season and had trouble running the ball.

The question of bowl week fired at Urban Meyer came from a Michigan writer moments after Florida’s first practice Wednesday. Predictably, it had to do with the spread offense, which Michigan appeared to have no clue against in earlier losses to Appalachian State and Oregon.
Meyer quickly gave what has become his standard answer to those questions about the spread.

After their final pre-bowl practice Friday, the Florida Gators seem to have everything in order as they head into their four-day Christmas break.
They’re healthy (with the exception of wide receiver Riley Cooper, who will miss the Capital Bowl Game with a broken finger), they’re all academically eligible (with a team GPA of 2.9 in the fall semester) and they’re coming off what Urban Meyer is calling one of their best weeks of practice this season.
