Pumped-up head coach

Urban Meyer is even excited about the prospect of watching the tailbacks play Saturday. And his defensive tackles. And his cornerbacks. The Associated Press preseason poll came out Saturday, and one of those first-place votes next to Ohio State belongs to me. Gators a little lethargic

Urban Meyer was not a happy head coach after the Gators stumbled and sputtered through a rather lifeless practice in Wednesday’s afternoon heat. “We didn’t have a good day,” Meyer said. “We’ve got to get a little better.
